The Jura Capresso Impressa Z6 Espresso Machine: Great Coffee With Just One
Touch
The shiny chrome finish did it for me. Don't get me wrong, the full automatic system, the excellent features and
the splendid design all combined to create a machine that is really one of its kind, but my attraction to the
machine lies in the outer chrome finish and in the fact that I can have a cup of cappuccino by simply pushing a
button.
The Jura Capresso Impressa Z6 espresso machine is a very exquisite piece of machinery. Its
predecessor, the Z5 was monumental in itself, but there was still room for improvement. And Jura brought out the
best in the Impressa Z6.
Commercial-Quality Machine
The Z6 espresso machine is Jura's second super automatic coffee and espresso offering. Like the Z5 it features
the best technology available which makes it ideal for either office or commercial use. But unlike the 3mm
alloy front and matte silver finish of the Z5, the Jura Impressa Z6 has the polished chrome front and a mirrored
LED display plus a heavy die-cast zinc tray.
Other features of the Jura Z6 can also be found in its predecessor. Working with a maximum 1350 watts, this
Impressa has an impressive maximum pump pressure of 18 Bar. The well built solid steel conical burr grinder
and built-in water filter are among its highlight features.
The one-touch cappuccino and/or latte button is another of its selling points. Unlike some machines where
you have to navigate your way through a few steps to create a cup of cappuccino, the Jura Z6 creates a cup without
the unnecessary distractions. Because of the two nozzle design and the internal coffee grinder, the Z6 grinds and
brews coffee and then puts frothed milk after with just a push of button.
Choosing Your Coffee
For variety and added convenience, Jura added eight one-touch beverage buttons which allows the barista to
create different drinks from milk and hot chocolate to hot water and tea to espressos and coffees. Everything can
be reprogrammed according to your preferences.
Functions that can be programmed include filter or water hardness, coffee temperature, milk volume, energy
saving, cup size and renaming beverage buttons. Plus, a rotary dial can override strength and cup size while you
are in the process of brewing.
All The Features You Need For A Great Cup
The Capresso Z6 has a large capacity, 96 oz. water capacity and 10 oz. bean container capacity to be exact. And
like the Z5, the Impressa Z6 has an electronic bean level sensor which detects and informs the barista if coffee
beans are running low.
As an added feature, the 3 line alpha numeric and graphic LED display makes the machine easier to use.
Indicators and displays tell the barista things like milk cleaning, the machine needs to be refilled, etc. Users
can program the language to display in English, Spanish, German, French or Dutch.
The Jura Capresso Impressa Z6 espresso machine is slightly heavier than the Z5 but shares the same
measurements of 14 inches by 12.5 inches by 16.5 inches. Don't expect, however, that these kinds of espresso
machines come cheap. The innovative features alone and the unique designs compensate for the price. These kinds of
espresso machines are very good investments.
